Texas Poetry Assignment is a non-profit arts organization inspiring community through hunger relief and poetry in Texas.

Texas Poetry Assignment will provide a list of poetry resources, extend calls for submission, publish exemplary poems, host readings, and support anti-hunger efforts in Texas.

Also archived on this site is the TEJASCOVIDO project, which from March 13-June 1, 2020, published poetry, essays, stories, and art in response to the first months of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The current editor and publisher of Texas Poetry Assignment is Laurence Musgrove.
