#79 Texas Struggles

ASSIGNMENT PURPOSE

For this assignment, consider how to express in the special language of poetry some aspect or domain of human struggle in our state. What are the current and abiding struggles, whether they be political, social, economic, or judicial? What else comes to mind when considering the image related to this assignment? Thanks to Milton Jordan for suggesting this assignment.

HOW TO SUBMIT

Poetry submissions should be saved in Microsoft Word document format and composed in Times New Roman, 12-point font. They should be attached to an email addressed to editor@texaspoetryassignment.org and include a brief cover letter and a 50-word biography within the body of the email.
